Raffle Tickets with Stubs
The stub is how you find the winner. This preset turns on every write-in line (name, phone, email, address) and prints the same number on both halves.

How stubs work at a draw
- When you sell a ticket, the buyer writes their details on the stub.
- You tear the stub off and put it in the draw box; the buyer keeps the ticket with the same number.
- At the draw, pull a stub, read the number out loud, and the person holding that ticket wins.
- If the winner is not there, the name and phone number on the stub tell you who to call.
Tips for clean stubs
- Pre-fold a whole sheet along the perforation lines before the event, so tearing is quick at the table.
- Keep sold stubs in one container and unsold tickets in another, so the box only holds tickets that were paid for.
- Use the email line when you plan to send results or receipts afterwards.
Questions
Which stub lines should I use?
Name and phone are enough for a draw held on the night, when winners are in the room. Add email or address when the draw happens later, or when prizes will be posted or delivered.
Should the stub be on the left or the right?
Either works. Left-hand stubs are the most common and suit right-handed tearing; put the stub on the right if you want the ticket text to read first. The setting changes every ticket at once.
How do I separate stubs from tickets?
Fold firmly along the dashed perforation line and tear, or cut it with scissors or a paper trimmer. On card stock, run a ruler and a dry ballpoint pen along the line first to score it.
How does the numbering work?
Enter the first number and how many tickets you need. Each ticket and its stub get the same number, counting up by one with no gaps or repeats. Add leading zeros (001, 0001), a prefix such as “A-” or a suffix, and the preview shows the result before you print.
How do I print and cut the tickets?
Press Download PDF and print it at 100% (actual size), or press Print. Choose US Letter or A4 and 4, 5, 8, 10, 12 tickets per page. Cut along the light dashed guides, then fold or cut along the darker dashed line between ticket and stub.
Is it really free?
Yes. Up to 50 numbered tickets per PDF, every free colour theme, stubs, every layout, PDF download and printing are free, with no account. Free pages carry one small line at the bottom saying where they were made.
